CURRENT MISSION
To remain a full time musician post COVID and travel as much as possible.

ABOUT ME
I'm from the Hudson Valley in New York State. It's beautiful place with a large community of family and friends that I try to keep in touch with and visit at least once a year. I now live with my partner in Berlin, Germany and have been living in Germany and working in the EU as a musician since 2015.

I've been working with wood since I was 15 building mostly building houses with an emphasis on sustainability back in New York. Nowadays in Germany, fine carpentry work has keep me grounded and afloat financially through the pandemic and I've been working part time in a wonderful woodworking shop down in Bavaria for three years.

Bicycle touring combined with music has been fairly new passion sparked by the Pandemic. My partner and I acquired a kind of modern tandem bicycle and have been making music tours with the instruments in an old children's trailer playing mostly garden concerts through Germany, Austria and Switzerland. We've now fallen in love with the concept and are planning our next tours as part of our duo "Tante Friedl." www.tantefriedl.eu

I grew up with a strong desire for adventure and have never lost this need to get out and meet new communities and cultures. As a folk musician, I've found my music to be helpful tool of discovery and hope I never lose my general faith in humanity. 99% of people are good at their core and one can really recognize this through travel.

Through action and adventure my destiny is rapidly revealed.

My sister originally told me about C.S and roped me in back during its roots in Montreal (where we both lived at the time). I've been to C.S birthday and holiday events. Stayed with hosts throughout the EU, and have hosted numerous guests in my old flat in Hudson, NY

Music:
The folk music scene in Europe is alive and well. Dare I say the modern day melting pot in action. There are a lot of cultures coming together and working out here and the evolutions in traditional music are exciting to say the least.
