About Me
Hey there,
I love getting to know people, cultures and countries.
Therefore I love travelling but try to keep my carbon footprint as small as possible by travelling by train, bus or bicycle.
My last long journey was on the bicycle. Together with my boyfriend we cycled from Austria till Nepal. We passed many amazing countries and got to know even more amazing people. If you are interested in pictures, stories and the route we took you can check out my blog: https://www.polarsteps.com/therehoppel
In my free time i love to do yoga, meet friends, go hiking, spend time in the nature and many other things :)
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I love the idea of couchsurfing! By staying with locals you get a totally different insight into cultures and places. It's just amazing to find new friends while travelling and to have kind of a home even though you are away.
Also I love hosting people. I like the idea of opening the home for people who are travelling and happy about a place where to stay and sleep.
Although I only created my own profile now I have already used Couchsurfing quite a lot in the past years. As I was travelling together with other people like my boyfriend we shared a Couchsurfing profile in the past. You can read the references we got here: https://www.couchsurfing.com/users/2002719285/references
