ABOUT ME

My name is Theresa Schweig, iam a 19 year old german girl, who decided to take 5 months off to do some travels in australia, new zealand and india. to finance this idea i worked as a waitress, on a potato farm and on the market to sell the reaped potatoes between finishing school and travelling.
my plan is to start studying medicine next year in autumn, after absolving a medicine test in may(which hopefully increases my chance to get in the studys) and working in a hospital from may until october.

i have three elder sisters and one little brother, but since my brother lives with my father and my sisters all moved in their own apartments, its just my mum, our dog and me living together in a small town in germany.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

unfortunately i personally do not have any experiences with couchsurfing, but ive heard a lot about it and decided to try it during my travels. since we ended up hiring a campervan in australia this is my last chance to give it a try and i am so looking forward to it, especially after two of my friends met so many great people with couchsurfing in the United States, when they did it first as well. i think its just a great opportunity to meet new people and even get to know much more about the culture of a country than it would ever be possible in hostels.
