Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Usually I participate in the local CS scene.
I am interested in how the world is working somewhere else than where I live, and how else than by meeting people from all over the world? :)

Interests

* sitting together with my friends having barbecue, picnic, a boardgame-evening, or going out dancing or to a pub with them
* meeting interesting and openminded people from all over the world
* singing, acting, music (theoratically I can play the piano, but I prefer listening to it and going to concerts and festivals ;) )
* but also: reading, sewing and handicraft of all sorts, baking and cooking
* last but not least: being lazy on free, rainy sundays! ;)

Music, Movies, and Books

* I like a lot of different music. I prefer Indie and Rock, sometimes HipHop. A lot of German bands (Die Ã'€zte, Bosse, ...). Sometimes I feel more like electronic music (Alle Farben, ...) or totally different music all together. Depends on my mood really.
* I also really like to read. Trash and serious stuff, depending on how much is going on in my life at that moment. ;)
* And, yes, I also watch Game of Thrones. ;P

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

* Fantastic: Sitting with a warm bagle with creamcheese in one hand and a steaminghot tea in the other in the central park and watching people playing baseball in the morning.
* Wonderful: A night with sauna, dipping in the lake next by, eating pancakes and watching the midnight-sun in Finnish summers.
* Exciting: The feeling in the hours before my train arrived in Kokkola, where I would meet my 1-year-host-family for the first time. Have never been more excited in my whole life!
*Dreamlike: Lying on the grass during a shooting star night in the Bavarian countryside.
*Psychedelic: Standing on a roof with a fantastic view over Istanbul and suddenly the singing of the Muezzin comes from all directions.

Teach, Learn, Share

I know that I know nothing. ;)
I'm interested in learning everything you would like to share with me and am offering the same in return.
As I like cooking (and eating!) I would really like to cook some local food with you. But prepare, I don't know a lot of good Traditional German recipes and would rather cook something from your home. ;P
