ABOUT ME

Wehehelll ouu i love this. Where to start?! Hummm for instance, i was born. Jep. I was the one of a billion sperms that actually made it - quite amazing if you think of it.
Been quite a sobbin piece of work after birth, but grew up to be a little more courageous. I formed my first band with nine, and had a few since then, with some live shows.
I love making music, singing, dancing, shouting, playing instruments, i enjoyed acting in my earlier youth - shortly, all the loud and neighbour-sensitive hobbies there are. Thats why my whispering is the average guy`s shouting - can`t really help that. But normally, people get used to it - or the hell out of here. :-)
As a profession, i am a copywriter - i sit around waiting for ideas, that is. And i write song lyrics, also for other bands, like the Munich Pop Band "Fertig,Los!" My own music you can hear there: www.myspace.com/ichauston. It's quite sad, but I'm not. :-) Jep - that`s about it.

PHILOSOPHY

There are a few things i tell myself when i feel sad or get one of my melancholic fits:

- This is one of the best places and times to be alive there ever were. Be thankful.

- each ejaculation bears a billion sperms - that exactly I made it - the lottery jackpot is daily business compared to that.

- As Laurie Anderson puts it: "You were born. And so you`re free."

And - when people tend to confront me:

People talk. That`s what they do. (Ani DiFranco:) People talk about my image. Like I come in two dimensions.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

First thing - i won`t be in munich for the oktoberfest this year - so please ask someone else for that period... Other than that, i want to host as often as i can - even though my landlords are a well special old couple living right under me, so at nights we should be not too loud - or out.

I became a freelancer recently, so there are times when i have plenty of time to show you around the city and all kinds of clubs and museums, and let you meet my very friendly friends. ;-) And there are times when i have none at all - so we should arrange your stay a few weeks ahead, if possible.

If i have made a bit money i also plan to travel again - but first i`?ll only host - when i can.

I have a large living room with a view on the alps, and a sofa in it almost three people can sleep on - so this will be fun. A little whispery fun at nights, maybe - but still. ;-)

Done:
14 weeks travelling through India - all on my own, meeting many beautiful people.
Other than that well - playing a set in front of 1.500 people with a band we founded one day before. :-D
Working as a consciential objector in a cancer clinic for eleven months. Those people were to be learned from. Such bone-deep sparkles of joy...
