ABOUT ME

I guess you could say that the best way to describe me would be "free spirited." I'm trying to live the life of a modern nomad. I have been WWOOFing on a couple farms in Washington since Fall 2009, and soon will be heading to the wilds of Alaska. I live for new adventures and love to explore new environments, both wild and urban, by foot. I am also very passionate about good food. I believe that encouraging people to eat locally and produce their own food will change the world.

PHILOSOPHY

I am a firm believer in positive thinking. When we allow ourselves to fear and doubt, we are only preventing ourselves from reaching our full potential. When we embrace change in our lives, when we dare to dream, when we face our fears and surmount them, that is when we are at our best.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I love expanding my mind by meeting new people and having new experiences. I hope to really forge friendships with interesting new people around the world. I don't have a permanent home at the moment, so I can't host people but I would still love to meet up with any like-minded people traveling through my area.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

Hiking alone at Mt. Ranier while it was snowing. Looking back, not the safest thing I've ever done, but it was breathtaking and exhilarating.
