ABOUT ME

for my job as a tour leader I'm nearly year-round on the way.....and in my free time I like to spend time abroad!
but then I prefer not to stay in hotels but meet up with you!! the locals with all their great stories and a lot more information than any guidebook! And it makes me happy to be part of the “normal” local life!!
and ehmm something about me personal....?? I'm a happy, loving, caring and a bit pigheaded (just a little, just because I'm always making sense :)) girl that loves sharing the great things of life!!

DON’T SAVE MONEY SAVE GREAT MOMENTS!!
enjoy as much as you can!! and do it now not tomorrow, next week or worse next month!!

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Because of my work and lifestyle as “fulltime-traveler” I don’t have a own home or place to offer. since november 2010 when I had my first CS experience in Nepal I’m very happy I that I’ve singed up…. Ever since I’ve met many great people and shared many great moments……. I’m very happy to be part of this great project!!!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

in 1998 I’ve met a great Australian family that offer me and my friend a bed in their house after our car broke down, after we spend a long and wonderful time with them, we’ve traveled on and spend days and nights at local places, homes of friends and family of this great family that helped us out for 1 night to begin with…… after that experience I’ve always looked back and though what a great way to travel and meeting people…..I don’t know why it took me another nearly 12 years to sign up with CS…. In November 2010 I’ve spend my first CS nights in a more then heartwarming family in Nepal, and now I’m every time learning and getting to know more about all the great options CS has….

Interessen

Traveling: being in great places/nature and meeting the locals,
Outside: Biking and hiking in the mountains, on the beach or every other place that’s is quiet and peaceful
Inside: reading and cooking for friends…..
and if I’m in Holland: spending time with my little niece

maybe a bit bland but I like a lot of musicstyles....it all depents of the moment and my feelings....it goes from classic till rock.

Eine tolle Erfahrung, die ich gemacht habe

there have been so many amazing moments to never forget that I can write a whole book....

the work I did with sick monkeys in the jungle of Bolivia is one of the things that has touched my heart, so pure to be in the middle of the jungle with 6 monkeys to take care of…….

Lehren, lernen, teilen

Every single person has its own stories and from talking and listening to each single one I’ll learn a lot and hopefully they’ll learn some of me……
If not, hopefully we both just had a very good time 
