Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I hosted once while I was at home in Malaysia, I surfed in Rome and also helped my flatmates in London host. Every experience has been pretty amazing, so I would like to have the opportunity to do more surfing and hosting whenever I can.

Interests

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Too many! Gahh, if I had to choose..

I walked from London to Lewes in 3 days for Guy Fawkes night (in November!). The first night of camping, it poured like hell and my tent was completely soaked, so I got up and walked around the camping grounds in the middle of the night (it was pitch dark except for the occasional sensor bulb that would light up), hoping to find shelter. Finally, a kind gentleman let me stay in his lodge, and even fixed me up with some dry clothes, a mattress, clean linen and plenty of blankets! On the second night, I slept in the bathroom of a camp site to avoid similar fate with the tent. It worked and was warm for the most part!
