Greetings! I'm Isaac,
Hailing from Singapore, I'm a paramedic for the local ambulance service. I have been described as talkative :) but I'm friendly and I love to learn about different cultures.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Meet new people!! share experiences, cultures, stories, advice and everything in between! An outlet for the more adventurous side of me to relate my passion for seeing the earth from different perspectives. And most of all...have fun!
motorcycling/mtb: I'm a big fan of the two wheeled sports and anything extreme.....Not so much a danger junky...But I do enjoy making myself uncomfortable.
I enjoy tramping. I mostly go on my own but I'll never refuse company!
Ceroc dancing! Been doing it for years. Its taken a back step at the moment but if you've never tried it before, I'm happy to bring you along to try it out. Its easy and fun!
Music, Movies, and Books
Matthew Reilly, Dave Brown and many more. I enjoy mostly action or mystery books. Muse, Foo Fighters, Creed, Oasis, Dubstep, house and a ton more. I enjoy alot of music but only remember and listen constantly to a few.
Slowly working my way through the wheel of time saga at the moment. It's a beast.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Bungy jumped at Victoria falls on the zambia/Zimbabwe border....I'm scared of heights but it was definitely my biggest thrill. Backpacked in South Africa with a friend and from Elephants walking infront of the bus in Botswana to Pony Trekking in Lesotho in barren landscape completely isolated from modern civilisation. Bribed my way through customs in Mozambique. Zoomed around Calvi, Corsica and the surrounding country side on a rented scooter. Got my backpack stolen in France, lost myself in the backstreets of Barcelona. Streaked in a blizzard storm on the highest point of europe, Jungfrauoch, Switzerland.
Seen far more than I deserve and for that I am humbled.... The world is a terrible yet amazing place.
Teach, Learn, Share
You can heat up your frozen hashbrowns in the toaster....quick and easy :D
Courgettes sliced and panned fried with onions and Garlic makes for a ten minute tasty dish to serve with. Aubergines as well...and potatoes but they take a bit longer.
What I Can Share with Hosts
Hopefully an interesting conversation. I'm not a great cook but it'll be safe to eat. Also, I'll give any pets lots of attention...if they don't bite.
