It's the best way to meet people and learn about the local culture of every place, be more like a traveller and less like a tourist.

Music: Muse, Radiohead, Joy division, Sex pistols, and punk and rock bands.

Movies: the dreamers, Harold and Maude, Blue is the warmest colour, a lot of Almadovar and some of Bunuel and Tarkovsky.

Books: mostly poetry and psychology and of course Tom Robbins!
