ABOUT ME

I love all things travel. I love talking to people about the places they have been and things they have seen. I live vicariously through the stories of the surfers that I host. If I could I would spend my whole live on the road meeting new people and experiencing new cultures.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I have an open schedule which allows me the time to host and show surfers around town.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

1. Hosted Karina – April 12 - Moving from Grand Rapids, Michigan to Dallas, Texas.

2. Hosted Derek – April 21 - Derek’s last night in town. He was headed to New Orleans to help rebuild the 9th Ward.

3. Hosted Ben – May 2-4 - Ben was just in town to visit some friends for the weekend.

4. Hosted Tumi – May 24 - Tumi was traveling all over the U.S. before moving back to Iceland.

5. Hosted Rory and Marisol – May 26 - They were moving from Vermont to Mexico.

6. Hosted Jacob – June 11 - Jacob was on his way to New Orleans, LA from Kansas City, MO via motorcycle.

7. Hosted Keith – June 25 - Keith hitchhiked his way to Memphis a was on his way to DC for the 4th.

8. Hosted Sara – July 4 - Sara was moving from Buffalo, NY to Denver, CO. Her friend Reba was along for the ride.

9. Hosted Seth – July 5-7 - Seth was moving from Madison, NJ to Portland, OR with Alan.

10. Hosted Robert – Aug 5 - Rob was traveling from Indiana back to his home in Austin, TX.

11. Hosted Doris – Aug 7 - Doris stopped in Memphis on her road trip through the States before returning to Germany.

12. Hosted Brook – Aug 8 - Brook was road trippin’ through Memphis and surfed my couch for a night.

13. Hosted Catherine & Raynald - Aug 11 - Catherine and Raynald were driving from DC to NOLA and back to DC. They stopped in Memphis for some Bar B Q and to see Graceland before returning to France.

14. Hosted Dan - Aug 16 - He was driving to Texas to attend Rice for his Ph.D.

15. Hosted Jen - Nov 7 - She was touring the US before returning to England.

16. Hosted Dan - Nov 25, Dec 8, & Jan 7 - Dan was moving to Atlanta from OK.

17. Hosted Christian & Maryssa - Dec 3 - They were traveling form RI to CA.

18. Hosted Rob & Sassha - Jan 1-4 - They were in town for the Liberty Bowl. Go Pirates!

19. Hosted Eric and Sarah - Jan 11 -for a one night on their southern road trip.

20. Hosted Mina - Jan 25-27 - She was hitchhiking all over the U.S. for fun of it.

21. Hosted Michael - Feb 6-8 - He was in town for a theater convention.

22. Hosted Jonathan - Feb 8 - He and his friend Nick were passing through Memphis on the way back home from Florida.
