ABOUT ME

Kind of a quiet person is general but I love to travel and see new places. I love to laugh and talk or listen with people. A big table with lots of food, people and talking is the absolute best. Most of all I would say I'm an observer of the world but also a participant.

PHILOSOPHY

I'm still trying to figure this one out and I really don't think there is ever a definite answer. I would have to say just be and don't cling to the negative, it will only make you unhappy.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I participate by traveling, sharing what I've experienced, tips on places to go, what to see, where to eat (and if necessary what to avoid). Sharing also about the people I've met and the different culture experienced. I'm a citizen of the world willing to learn and teach.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I surfed with a friend and my roommate over spring break this year but I'm just now becoming a member. We had an absolutely wonderful time up in BC, Canada and met the most amazing people. Of course before that there was couch surfing with friends of family and relatives. It has been something I've been doing since I was young so it just seems like this is a natural extension.

Interests

Cooking, Drawing, Reading, Flamenco dance, people watching and of course traveling which includes sharing stories, cultural exchanges and being on the road.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I've been a riverguide for a summer, meeting all sorts of people who come to enjoy part of nature. I've seen river otter, deer, bears and birds living together and moving over to let us humans pass through.

Teach, Learn, Share

Well I'm good at simple, quick and tasty meals as well as the more complex and extravigant and I love to share what I make. Ask me a question and I'll do my best to answer or if I can't I'll find someone who will. I'm also open to learning and trying everything. New language, new recipes, new place...if you teach I will learn.
