Not new to literal couch surfing, but I am new to this awesome online program. I am a young female traveler, seeking a well rounded experience of cultural exposure along with good times. I was born in the United States and raised between New York State and Florida all my life. I have always been a wanderer, seeing much of the east coast and central U.S. as well as some parts of South America.

I am very friendly and outgoing, but also laid back and appreciate a relaxed atmosphere. I would consider myself the opposite of high maintenance, however I like to keep a clean space and have the utmost respect for other people's property. I deeply appreciate people who are willing to open their homes to travelers, and will always do my best to ensure there is an equal exchange of gratitude for the host's hospitality.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

For my next adventure, I am off to Europe! I cant wait to experience the people and places that Europe has to offer; my trip over the pond starts in March of 2018. I plan to tour Europe for several months and have the highest hopes that couch surfing will help along the way.

Currently I live in sunny South Florida with a life long friend. I would really love to open my home as a host for other surfers until I leave for my trip, however the roomie is not too keen on the idea so I am unable to do that right now. When I make my way back to the United States, I plan on living with someone who is open to hosting or live alone so I can give back to the community.

Music, Movies, and Books

When it comes to music I like pretty much everything except country music, and even with that being said I can handle a little twang now and again. The range of genres I like is truly very wide, from indie rock and experimental electronic to jazz and classical.

I like independent and foreign films, but a superhero movie here and there is nice too. I am a bit of nerd, but I do not have the honor of calling myself a "super nerd" like some. I love Star Wars, Star Trek, Marvel and DC comics and movies (I know, I am so controversial!). Then there is the 90's girl side of me that loves Disney and cartoon classics like Beauty and the Beast, Little Mermaid, Lion King and so on. I also really love anything Jim Henson; The Labyrinth, Dark Crystal, Muppets!!

I really enjoy comedy, musical theater and pretty much any live performance art. Art is life in my eyes.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Removed myself from a destructive, drowning and toxic long term relationship. Best decision I EVER made. Not only am I a better person inside and out, but the people around me are happier because I am happier. I have so much more respect for myself and feel stronger now than I ever have before.

Teach, Learn, Share

Teach...hmm...I am great at listening and can help people reflect. I love giving advice and hearing people's stories. Maybe I can teach you something about yourself you didn't know.

Learn...I want to learn it all! I am a sponge for knowledge. If you are willing to share, I am willing to listen. Bring it on!

Share...I love sharing stories and experiences. I am also not very materialistic so in the literal sense I am also very open to sharing. I think what I share the most are my philosophies and hopefully I can open my home to travelers in the future.
