At birth, I was christened with an alarmingly French name. However, I am descended from a very long line of pig slaughtering, vodka-brewing Bohemians with passive-aggressive tendencies and dark, sardonic wits. Thus begins my identity crisisâ

PHILOSOPHY

I fear I read too much Camus as a adolescent -- I have definite absurdest leanings. I'm still searching for the meaning in life, but I'm not yet convinced there is any.

However, I am still learning and growing. I enjoy listening to other people's philosophical ramblings, and I'm always game for hearing new ideas.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I would be more than happy to meet up with anyone traveling through Oregon who is in need of some company. Coffee, dinner, a quick tour, a trip to the cinema -- I am game for anything. Sadly, I have no proper friends to speak of, so any social contact would cheer me considerably.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I haven't had much Couchsurfing experience, but the little I have had has been intense. Also, amazing.

Interests

Simply put, I'm interested in anything & everything beautiful.

Some examples:
Fingers across corduroy and other tactile sensations.
Raindrops on the eyelashes of pretty girls.
Nosebleeds.
Walking until your feet hurt.
Brief storms in the middle of hot summer days.
Poetry written on small scraps of paper and left for others to find.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I made a short film...
I'm not sure if that qualifies as amazing, but eh. I'm the type of girl who believes most everything is amazing. Absinthe. Pancakes. Fireplaces. Kittens.

...it's all quite awe-inspiring to me.
