ABOUT ME

Grown up in Germany I am now living in Norway since 1976. I live alone in a big house on an old farm, but I am not a farmer anymore. But I still grow vegetables to be selfsufficient as much as possible. There is plenty of room here for several guests. I live 30km west of the little town Nordfjordeid, which is about 350km north of Bergen. I am only available to show you around when I am not working. HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

As a host for CS members, so far. That's really inspiring and almost as interesting as travelling by my own. I tried a little surfing i Rome and Florence but it was difficult to find hosts in the middle of the tourist season. But many years ago when hitchhiking still was common I travelled a lot and many times I was invited home by people giving me a ride, specially in France, in Norway and in Ireland.

Morceaux de musique, films et livres

I like soft music, piano, flutes, and lots more. And just now I enjoy a lot french music and try to relearn a bit of the French language through lyrics.

Many years ago when hitchhiking still was common I travelled a lot and many times I was invited home by people giving me a ride, specially in France, in Norway and in Ireland.

Enseignez, apprenez, partagez

I can show you a lot of coastal culture in the area. Teach you using my / our boats (rowing, sailing, kajakk and motorboat). Sharing good meals and learning from eachother. Teach you about the viking time in the Nordfjord.
