ABOUT ME

I'm a professional wineblogger which means I travel around the world visiting vineyards and trying lots of (not always) good wine. I was a backpacker when I was younger and I lived in Asia,South America and Europe, travelling around for over 10 years. I now live in London but spend a lot of time on the road, as you can imagine. Want to know anything about wine? Just ask!

I've just joined so am only surfing couches at the moment

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've done lots of couch surfing on friends' couches. The most fun was China where we ended up staying for a month with friends and were offered jobs as English teachers at Mao's old primary school (but don't worry, I don't have time to hang out that long anymore!)

I tend to read a lot of biographies of historical figures as well as biographies of great European cities, especially London. I love London and will be happy to show people around.

There are so many, I've been extremely lucky to have had the opportunity to travel the world and meet and live with so many amazing people. Probably one of the most amazing things was being present at the birth of a little girl,on a bus, in the middle of the Colombian jungle.

I have an extensive knowledge of wine, primarily European wines but I have also spent considerable amount of time in Argentina and Uruguay visiting the vineyards there. If you have any questions about wine, don't hesitate to ask. Remember the only stupid question is the one unasked.
