Small town girl born with a traveller's itch! Most weekend's I'm travelling around the Midwest to visit friends and family but every couple years I like to do a big adventure! This is my first time doing couch surfing so I'm pretty excited to experience this. :)

A few things about me are that I work as a Special Education Assistant in a middle school so I'm use to using kindness, humor, and patience to get through my day. I'm also the youngest of four children so I'm use to playful banter with people. Please let me know if I ever cross a line though as I do not wish to offend anyone. I love the outdoors, reading, and music (especially anything that I can dance to). I adore animals especially dogs (will walk/ play with any animal for free!).

If I am your guest, I promise to respect your house and rules to the best of my ability. I don't mind doing dishes or chores so please let me know if I can repay your hospitably with some cleaning. I enjoy cooking and baking but can't promise anything fancy (happy to share though!). I'm traveling alone so I would appreciate any suggestions and/or company to visit places. I think that couch surfing is an incredibly neat way to travel so thank you for sharing your place with others! I am currently not sharing my place as I live with 4 roommates in a small house and they are not comfortable with strangers.

I love the idea of staying with someone who really knows the area. Also I'm traveling alone so I figured this would be a great way to meet people and experience new things/places!

For Australia/ New Zealand- I'm use to the ocean being over a thousand miles away in any direction so any normal beach/ocean activities would be great to try (surfing, snorkling, etc.) I love swimming though and have swam in the ocean before. :)
