ABOUT ME

Hey :-) my name's Mel & I am a walking contradiction, always alternating between black & white, busy & bored, laughing & crying. I'm addicted to biographies (a little nerdy, I know) & spend a fair bit of my time & money buying new ones. That & music. My 2 weaknesses. I love cooking & baking... although it's more fun when there's someone to cook or bake for & let's be honest...cooking for the olds isn't that much fun. I live my life with background music. If I don't have music playing somewhere (ipod, laptop, stereo) then it's playing in my head...& sometimes that tune is sung/whistled/played out by my fingers on an imaginary keyboard also.
I love wine, especially sparkling... I carry my journal with me everywhere ... I'm sick of facebook ... I have crazy dreams almost every night ... my hair is constantly changing ... and I am easily amused :D I have just discovered photography and am loving just wandering around taking photo's of all different things. I'm looking forward to wandering around London doing the same thing!

Eine tolle Erfahrung, die ich gemacht habe

I have watched a turtle laying her eggs, then helped to move the eggs up the beach to a nest in a safer location.
I have swum with sharks.
I have climbed the Sydney Harbour Bridge. Twice.
I have overcome. That in itself is a victory & an amazing thing.
