Hey there! I’m Thiago, a Brazilian living in Canada. I’m an easygoing and open-minded person who loves meeting new people, sharing experiences, and making great memories along the way.

I work in finance as an Accounts Receivable Specialist, but my passions go beyond numbers. I have a degree in Computer Systems and am currently studying SAP, Python, and French. I also love teaching languages—helping Brazilians with English and Canadians with Portuguese.

When I’m not working or studying, you’ll find me laughing at a good comedy (whether it’s stand-up, sitcoms, or a classic funny movie), training in Muay Thai, or hitting the road for an adventure-filled road trip. I enjoy board games, especially game nights with friends, and I’m a huge dog lover. My dog, Toby, sometimes joins me on hikes and in exploring towns across Ontario, making every trip even more fun.

🎵 Music: I love indie music and enjoy discovering new bands—one of my favorites is The Strike. I’m also a huge fan of Shakira—her music, energy, and talent are unmatched! I have a soft spot for old-vibe songs and love artists like Alanis Morissette, Calum Scott, Pink, and Linkin Park. My playlist is a mix of nostalgia, powerful vocals, and great melodies.

🎬 Movies: Comedy is my go-to, but I also enjoy superhero films, romantic movies, and classics. Some of my favorites include White Chicks, Scary Movie, and Deadpool. I also love a good road trip movie—nothing beats a story that inspires adventure!

📚 Books: I haven’t always been a big reader, but I’ve been trying to change that by exploring books that help me grow. Lately, I’ve been into personal development, comedy, and fiction with deep storytelling—especially ones that challenge my perspective on life. Currently reading: The Flatshare by Beth O'Leary.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

One of the most amazing things I've done was embarking on my big adventure of living abroad. In 2015, I moved to Colombia for a job opportunity and spent five transformative years there. During that time, I immersed myself in the vibrant culture, learned Spanish, and grew professionally while making lifelong friends. I also explored many cities and enjoyed unforgettable motorcycle road trips through breathtaking landscapes—from beaches and rivers to waterfalls, canyons, and mountains—and I embraced the local party scene with open arms. This journey not only broadened my horizons but also created memories I’ll cherish forever.
