ABOUT US

We are a brazilian couple that lived in Dublin between 2013 - 2014. We worked in restaurants in a very busy tourist area, Temple Bar. And after contact with some tourists, one of them told us something that we had been thinking about: everybody may travel, but just some people are real travellers. And we think that is true. You must enjoy your trip, having contact with local people, eating their tradicional food, drinking their best drink, seeing the city by walk, feeling the city and the people. So, that’s what we would like to do in our trips.

PHILOSOPHY

We believe in people. We believe that everybody can help each other without another interesting. Helping another human being without expectations that the person will give you something back. That’s why this comunity has been working so well.

我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

We had heard about couchsurfing before coming to Europe from a friend who had travelled a lot in Europe and in most of her trips she had used couchsurfing. When she told us about this comunity we automatically thought that we had to do this. We started in Munich as a guest in a friendly house. We enjoyed the experience, so we would like to repeat all over the world, because we have seen that this is the best way to know the place you are travelling to.

兴趣

We are very interested to travel to different countries, meeting new people, getting contact with a new culture and society. We would like to know all the history about the places that we are visiting and the importance of them.
We also are interested in sports, series, music, nature, and everything that make us interested in.

音乐、电影和书籍

We like all kind of music, it depends on the moment that we are living or the place that we are. But we love rock, samba, bossa nova, irish music, pop... We don’t care about the type of music, if we like at the first time, we like, that’s it.
We enjoy watching series and movies. I (Suellen) am not a good fan of horror, but I can watch with one eye closed.
We love all kind of books. The only rule that we have is that you must read the book before you watch the relacionated film.

When we decided to go to Ireland. Because we didn’t know what expect from everything. And it was an amazing experience.

You can do all theses things at the same time. We think that when you are talking to someone you will listen first, you will talk second, you will learn something from this conversation, you will teach something to the people that you are talking to, and you will share all theses things to another person that will pass to another person, as a circle.
