About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Get to know not only new and interesting places but, interesting people and learn their culture and life way. To really feel like a citizen while surf.

ABOUT ME

I'm a world citizen, living in the U.S. I'm here as an Oracle Consultant, living in Reno but always traveling around for consultancy projects.
I have my own (good) salary, so my family doesn't need to send me money, I'm independent and I make business as a serious person but I have my funny times and I like to have my time.
So I love, as a good Brazilian, to play soccer and do all kind of sports, barbecues, music, dancing, drinking reasonably.
Listen to music is a hobby that I have, so every time I'm home I'm listening to it, and I like almost all kinds of music, specially old songs from 70'and 80'.
I don`t smoke, and even if I want I couldn't because I`m allergic of it. I don`t drink too much, only for enjoying, so I don`t have problems with alcohol, hospital, get shame or anything not so good related.
I`m in CS not because of money but it`s because of culture and own knowledge about the world and life ways.

PHILOSOPHY

I live my life, at this moment, for me, myself. I`m building my professional and personal way, so I try to make my best to reach all my goals and to have a good life which I can think: ok, I`m happy with these things I`m doing and I`m very good on it.
But I have my fairly and my friends, so I try to be the fest as a person for them too, because they can need me or I can need them too. And no one loose being good to each other or doing at least the own part.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I see CS as a modern, but not alternative, way of traveling and consequently getting to know new people. So, I do my part, beeing honest and trying to tell people what`s really about and inviting them to join CS because at first impression you do not trust that someone can surf you at own home, but when you see it happen you believe how important is to make part of it, how is good to have new friends around the world and can make part of it`s life, even for one weekend.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I didn`t have experience yet. But I`m looking for a surfing and soon, when I come back to Brazil, for sure I will host someone in my place, that`s my wish. At the moment I really want to do it, but I can not surf anyone because I live in an apartament that belongs to my company, so they don`t allow me.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music: Nothing better than a good classic rock from the 60,70 and 80`s. Beatles, Pink FLoyd, Led Zeppeling... But the life is made by songtracks so, I can't forget the actual songs, pop songs that sometimes can make the moment.
Movies: Matrix (all the 3), Crash, Schindler List, The Wall and all movies that bring particular growing to life.
Books: Sci fi books, action and mistery. Huxley and others in genere.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

One of the most amazin things are happening at this time in my life. I`m doing a management internship in Romania. In a very rotulated country, very far from home and alone. Actualy I discovered that the country is not as people say, and its amazing and people are very receptive. I work in a big company in the city, very renamed and I`m making part of a big project of going to Brazil.I pay myself with my salary, so I do not depend on my family.

Teach, Learn, Share

I'm always open to learn new things and meanly interesting stuff. I like to learn complex things, new cultures, ways of life, get to know new families and enjoy with them the life as they live. And I'm always talking about my life too, my country, my jobs and experiences I had and experiences I'm having now. For me everything is valid, good moments and bad moments, because in both cases you can take a chance to know learn something new.
