My name is Thibault and I'm living in Brest, a French city in front of the sea which has been destroy during the Second World War. Here, I'm working at the Brittany Film Archive where I'm in charge, among others things, of the digitalization of old argentic movies. I'm also fascinated by photographies and all the works around, that's why during my free time I work in an artistic association called Collectif Ballast. We're a group of friends all making different creative works and our project is to make Brest cultural life open to everybody.

我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

I have already experienced the Couchsurfing system few years back in New Foundland, where I met great peoples. During my stage, they took me for big walks and visits around their city and show me lots of things that I couldn't saw by myself. They were happy to introduce me to their culture and it was a very nice sharing. That's the best way to discover and learn about a place.

Since my last Couchsurfing experience, I remember the great sharing we had, they took me to ballads, discovering new people, ... This is what I'm looking for. Sharing experiences with people who are happy to receive travelers and make them at ease. It's a good feeling to feel safe when you are very far from your hometown.
