ABOUT ME

Well that is a tough one, especially in front of a screen and a keyboard! Introducing myself -even more so on the internet- isn't really my cup of tea so I won't dwell on the subject! But I can give it a try though...I love sitting around with people and having -long- conversations and talk, switching between serious topics and some banter, among other things, which include music, concerts and partying, among yet other things...! But I think that a personality is something to get to know over a couple of drinks rather than to be typed in a little white box!

I don't know, don't think I need a philosophy to enjoy life!

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Haven't got a clue what this section is for, but it's allright I'll use it for another purpose! I would say I'm quite easy-going, and love human contact, and talking -exchanging views on the world, for instance- ang being outside (I love nature and living in nature) -weather permitting...- and a lot of other stuff.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Had a few Couchsurfing experiences -namely in Scotland, South Africa and New zealand. There have been wonderful experiences and I became friends with most of my hosts!
Can't host anybody at the moment cause I'm on the road, but as soon as I settle down back home, I'll sign up as a host !! Couchsurfing is definetely the best way to travel!

Interests

Many things... talking, music, sightseeing, travelling meeting people, enjoying the sun, sleeping (honestly, who doesn't?) learning languages, having a friendly conversation with my neighbour after he tactfully got in touch with me by banging his broom on my window because I was singing too loud, and the list goes on...

Music, Movies, and Books

As for music, it often revolves around reggae and gypsy musics. On a wider scale, anything that's got a guitar, drums, trumpets and violons in it I will most certainly enjoy! And of course, french classics such as Brassens and old-school Renaud -for those who know! Last but not least, what would music be without ... Manu Chao! Amazing artist.

Books - mostly alternative and politically engaged, but also novels every now and then - Irvine Welsh is a writer I really like!

Movies: In my opinion, a good movie is either an old school gangster movie or any movie that makes people talk about it afterward and that sparks debates!
