I'm a musician: pianist/composer etc. I love to travel. This mostly seems to mean driving up and down the road to Belfast, though. I don't love that. But it's grand.

PHILOSOPHY

I read that as 'perennial philosophy'! It's my subconcious answering for me, apparently.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Have hosted some lovely people! Unfortunately the summer is both the busiest times for both holidaymakers and musicians. This means I am away a lot but do ask, you might catch me! It also means I'm often not sure of plans beyond the week, bear with me if I take a while to get back to you!!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Introduced to it by my friend, the lovely Ewelina, who is a wonderful host. Have hosted many people now. None have ever come back, it's obviously been very successful. I wanna do more surfing now! Yeo.

兴趣

Tinkling the ivories, strumming guitar or vocal cords (not literally, that would really hurt), planning my unfinished masterpiece (never to be heard!), trains, travelling, lego modelling, Irish hills in the mist (mmm), eating and cooking, a jar, a bit of craic, atmosphere, amateur philosophising, staying up til dawn, hosting!

I can teach ye a few notes on the piano or guitar if you're keen. Always keen to bore, I can waffle endlessly (and incoherently) about local and international affairs. I know volumes of useless facts, can 'hand beatbox' (no really! but it's a secret how), can use German constructions in English without knowing any German (don't ask), can teach you cúpla focail (literally) & a kist o' wurds in 'Ulster Scots' (Grant, please?!) But enough about me.
