Overview
About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Meet people, share experiences, ... travel and enjoy the life!
ABOUT ME
I like traveling, discovering places and people, with my camera and a book. I am quite happy anywhere and I'm very optimistic.
I used to work for Caterpillar as a parts manager in Madagascar, Vietnam and Burkina Faso. I just spent 8 years in Canada, actually got the citizenship on the way, and I am now living Alabama ... until whatever brings me somewhere else... Switzerland?
PHILOSOPHY
"Isn't the life beautiful ?" and "It gonna be ok" are my two favorite mottos.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I used to host a lot in Hanoi and quite a bit in Ouagadougou (Burkina Faso). My point is to create a "maison du bonheur" abroad, for anyone who wants to feel home away from home.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
My first CS experience through this website, is not one, but 3 experiences at once : 6 people at the same time in the house, 6 different nationalities !
Interests
Chatting with people, drinking beers and wine with them, but also reading, cycling, playing music, motorbiking or trekking in remote areas.
One more thing, I looove board games.

Music, Movies, and Books
I like Star Wars of course, then films with Nicolas Cage, Harrison Ford, Hugh Grant, and "Le coeur des hommes", a French film about friendship.
My best books are those from Stephen King, Bernard Werber, Terry Pratchett, travel books, and books that make you think about things - pretty clear, uh?
Music ... MJ! miss you '-(, I mean, not personally, but you know what I mean. JJ Goldman, English pop music, classical music. I play and listen to piano, organ (the church one), guitar, and I listen to all types of music, though I'm quickly bored with RnB.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Probably watching the sunrise on Mount Everest, from the top of Kalah Pattar, while sick as h***
The stupidest thing: missing our flight from French Guiana back to France. We were sure that the flight was scheduled for August, 30th. Well, in fact, it was the day before. Since then, it has become a habit and I've missed 4 or 5 flights ... and counting :-D
Lovely one: one WE in a paradisiac island near Madagascar with 4 friends, using a private flight.
Whistling the music of the "Bridge on the River Kwai", while crossing the bridge on the River Kwai ; celebrating St Patty's in Dublin,
I try to keep the number of countries visited above my age :-)
Teach, Learn, Share
I can teach how to play music (piano, guitar (only for beginners)), physics, maths, .. We can cook together, I can teach you French of course, how to drive, and ... let's see what you want to learn.
Basically: Learn ... everything! and share ... everything!
What I Can Share with Hosts
I can share nice moments, good food (I can cook for you), nice talks ...
