About Me

CURRENT MISSION

After a master's degree in plant biology and 4 years in software development, I'm trying to find a job related to music and/or radio

ABOUT ME

I'm a carbonate lifeform shaped like a human

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I discovered this by my sister when she hosted a very cool guy for a week end

Interests

I did my studies on plant biology because it's too late to be a roadie for The Clash. Then I couldn't find a job in that field so I more or less converted to informatics. But that was too boring so I'm volunteering in radios while searching for something more serious.
I spend a lot of time talking, drinking, and well, sharing with friends. I live with roomies and I try to travel as often as I can, to see some friends in other cities. If I can't travel, I'm visiting my own city (currently Bordeaux) with my roommates and friends to see some concerts, grab a beer or just chill somewhere.

Music, Movies, and Books

Rock (Classic, Metal, Stoner, Psych...), Dub, House (Deep, Minimal...), Reggae, Hip-Hop, Trance, Hardcore... Anything that sounds good really.
I love Douglas Adam's humor (H2G2), Palaniuks writing style (Fight Club), Asimovs infinite creativity (Foundation) as well as every universes created by Neil Gaiman and I share a lot of Dawkins ideas (Selfish gene). I am also a big fan of a not-very-known french author Julien Blanc-Gras (Gringoland, Comment devenir un Dieu vivant) just to name a few

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Well if "amazing" can also mean "stupid" then I've done more than one!

Teach, Learn, Share

Not necessarily in that order but yeah, sure!

What I Can Share with Hosts

Some jokes badly translated in English, I'm also very happy to cook the few meals I know. I like to discuss very light topics like GMO controversy, metaphysics, the purpose of consciousness and the different ways to cook eggs and potatoes.

Countries I’ve Visited

Belgium, Canada, Denmark, France, Germany, Luxembourg, Netherlands, Spain, Switzerland, United States

Countries I’ve Lived In
