Hey,

I am Thijs Verkerke, I am 20 year's old and I'm from Nijmegen a city in the Netherlands. I'm studying Applied Photography at the Fotovakschool. A little bit more about me, I'm an outgoing person, a friendly person and a caring person. What more? I love to go hiking, basically what ever kind of adventure. I also love art and music, so if there is any cool stuff like that around where you live do not hesitate to show me.

A little bit about my adventures. I have backpacked with my friends in Luxemburg. I have done some backpacking in Ireland on my own. The biggest adventure I have done is going to be, the one where I have been to Australia. I have backpacked there and lived there for 6 months. After six months in Australia I went to Hong Kong, China and Macau. That was amazing too.

Like I said before I love to explore the world and different kinds of people. This is one of the many reasons why I'm doing couch surfing because you can meet the locals of the country you are staying in.

I like almost any music. For an example, I like to lisen to INXS, Bruce Springsteen, U2, ub40, Jonny Cash, the Police, Madness, Tears for Thears, Bob Marley, Skrillex, Hardwell, Avicii, Stromae, Red hot chilli peppers, Bullet for my Valintine, Youri Ergov. I can litarly go on with naming more and more great artist.

This is the same with movies. But not with book's I never have been a real reader. But I love reading comic's of Kuifje, Asterix en Obelix and Donald Duck.

What can I share is a great time, I love to laugh and joke around. Will do my best you will have a fun time as well not just me. This goes hand in hand if you are not having a great time i will not have a great time visa versa. I would love to share a bit off my culture and try to teach you some Dutch. Be prepared its harder than you think.
