About Me
A few months ago, my schedule was a bit all over the place, so I couldn’t host as much. Things are more settled now, and I’m definitely open to hosting again. Feel free to double message me if I don’t reply right away — sometimes I miss CS notifications!
I hate trying to describe myself, so I’ll keep this brief 😂
I used to be a pretty adventurous punk rocker, but these days I’m basically a NEET who streams, cracks awkward jokes, and works out at home or at the gym.
Occasionally, I’ll go out and travel with my boyfriend, try new foods, explore the city, catch live shows, or stream.
I’m a socially awkward person, but I’d say I’m kind and accepting. I sometimes make off-color jokes, but I promise I never mean any harm by them.
All in all, I’m a pretty easygoing person once you get to know me :)
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
First off, I believe Couchsurfing is an amazing way to share experiences and connect with people you might not otherwise meet. It really helped me out while I was traveling on a tight budget — and even more than that, it helped me work through social anxiety and improve my social skills. CS has truly been life-changing!
As for my experiences:
I stayed with various hosts while exploring Japan, from Sendai to Hiroshima. I had some truly unforgettable experiences with them, and I still keep in touch with many of them to this day. I loved hearing about their life stories, sharing meals, and just enjoying each other’s company.
I’ve also Couchsurfed in my home state of Texas and met some amazing people along the way!
I'm really looking forward to creating even more experiences like these!
As for my hosting experience:
I used to host the ChihiroYamazaki + Route 14 Band from Japan during SXSW back when I was living at my mom’s house. Since then, I’ve downsized to an apartment in East Austin, but I’ve still had the chance to host some incredible people — and I hope to host many more!

Music, Movies, and Books
I love all types of movies, music, anime, TV shows, video games, etc.
I don’t really have a favorite genre per se, so I’ll just list a few things I like because I’m feeling lazy, lol.
Movies & Shows: Planet of the Apes, Borat (and anything Sacha Baron Cohen-related, lol), It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia, Better Call Saul, The Righteous Gemstones, American Dad. I also love watching all kinds of documentaries — from true crime, political, and science docs, to NOVA specials and anything by VICE. I'm also a fan of Redbar, too!
Anime: Nana, Fruits Basket, Death Note, Detroit Metal City, GTO, Fullmetal Alchemist, JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure, Trigun, Fist of the North Star, and a bunch more I can’t remember at the moment.
Games: Majora’s Mask, Horizon Zero Dawn, The Witcher, Kirby, Fortnite, God Hand, Silent Hill, Resident Evil, Super Smash Bros. Melee, etc.
Music: I don’t have an absolute favorite band or genre, but I enjoy all kinds of music. Here are a few artists I listen to: L’ArcenCiel, VAMPS, David Bowie, Scarlxrd, BIGBANG, Miyavi, Lil Peep, Joji, Billy Joel, Luis Miguel, Doja Cat, etc.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
My fondest memory of all time was meeting Hyde from Laruku/VAMPS!!
