Resumen
Sobre mí
I'd like to think of myself as an imperfect yet decent mix between Asian stereotypes and Western ideologies. Born and raised in Vietnam, I moved to Finland when I was 17 for Uni, came back to Singapore for exchange before succumbing to the dreamy thoughts of European Christmas and hopped on a plane to Italy, where I'm pursuing graduate studies in Finance.
I'm usually quite introverted, but that's only to surprise you when night falls. In any case, I've really enjoyed connecting with Couchsurfing people and look forward to sharing knowledge, spreading energy, and having fun with many more!
Por qué estoy en Couchsurfing
Every time I come back from traveling, I feel energized for work again. Why? To save enough money to travel again, of course! But really, it's because I learn so much about the world and its amazing people. Each person will leave a mark on me so that in 5 years' time, I can reflect back on those conversations and exactly quote that one really good line that has partially shaped who I am today. That is an amazing feeling, and I would travel the world for it. Couchsurfing is one of the better ways to travel just because with locals, I'm empowered to do more crazy, risky things and learn all the more.

Música, películas y libros
Books: The Da Vinci Code, The Lightning Thief, 1984, The Pillars of Earth, Sapiens
Music: a bit of everything, mostly indie. I usually get obsessed with one song for a long time before moving on to another. Right now? Christmas music, of course. There're also (really wonderfully depressing) ones that really stick, but that's something we can talk about over beer.
Movies: the most memorable one is Coco, mainly because I never thought I would cry watching an animated work.
Algo increíble que he hecho
I became an organ donor to celebrate my 20th birthday.
Enseña, aprende, comparte
Generally speaking, I would love to have informed, intellectual discussions about controversial topics for which there may be multiple answers because what I find intriguing is differences in opinions between cultures. But if you're in for some self-deprecating humor and stories, you wouldn't be out of luck, either!
Qué puedo ofrecer a los anfitriones
Anything and everything about Vietnamese culture and cuisine. Also the stories and reasoning behind all my major life decisions (like why I decided to move to Finland or Italy, or to learn German). I am an open book!
P.S: I can also bake us a New York cheesecake :)
