About Me

CURRENT MISSION

My mission is exploring daily life.. and go on unforseen adventures !

ABOUT ME

Although all my days are not the same. They always start the same way with coffee. I'm a coffee lover. Some say that i'm not a real coffee lover as i like my coffee with milk. Preferably foamy milk. Anyway, I used to play volleyball for half of my existence. And decided to drop it when i moved for university. I studied psychology for two years, did a year of training to become a history teacher and finally after some searching i discovered that political sciences (International Relations..) was more my thing. on the side i've always been working.. My last job i did was working with the Red Cross, on the side i'm as well a participant as trainer in several seminars. Mostly about Queer, LGBTQ - Human Rights topics. I used to be very active in all kind of student unions. These days i'm living in Barcelona. I'm finishing up a wonderful year of Erasmus. I travel around the world.. quite a lot. This year alone in 2011 i've reached my personal record of flights. #16. Unfortunately my carbon footprint is on a huge rise.. but i do recycle and i try to travel a lot as possible on an environment friendly way. I'm a huge music fan. My ipod is my most capitalistic important good for me.
I'm into every kind of music but i must say that mostly electro is like sex for my ears. But i'm into everything, and the 80's are also never far away with me.

PHILOSOPHY

Neem een leven, gooi een feestje.

Don't let anything stop you. Unless you are about to kill someone.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

As i have lived in Barcelona for a year.. and not knowing at this moment where i'll be living in Brussels after coming back from Israel. I, myself have no idea yet how i can participate. But my goal is to guest new friends over at my place, just like i had the opportunity in the past and hopefully in the future to meet new friends.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Often i'm travelling for participating in Seminars and on those occations i meet friends where after i visit them and that's how Couchsurfing became a trend for me. Once i had a couchsurfing experience in Berlin, thanks to my best friend from Belgium who had been there a few months before. It's a close yet open and diverse network.

Interests

Wauw, i'm interested in many things. Mostly in travelling and religion, music and people. Politics, media, .. maybe my not so much interest goes out to things as exact sciences. Computers and stuff. Maybe because i'm just a nitwit with them. I have a big interest in photography. Art in its own form. Have i mentioned Coffee yet ? Yes, even coffee is a huge interest for me. Oh and news. I have to admit i read the newspaper daily. (actually several newspapers.. )
