I'm Thiphaine, 23years old, French. My home is in Alsace, near to the German border but for now, I live in Paris for studying. I learn how to produce in a good way, sustainable for the environment. I learn about human health and animal welfare too. I belong to this people who can't stay in one place. I need to move, to travel, to see things.

To meet people and especially to learn how they live.
I think you can only learn about a city or a place with its inhabitants, the one who knows behind the scenes. Couchsurfing is a wonderful chance for that.
I love learning from others, from other cultures. People are, for me, one of the biggest enrichment in the world.

My favourite movie is definitively The Lord of the Rings. It's the kind of story I would like to live, all about adventures and friendship !
Concerning music, I try to listen everything but I especially love Folk, Rock (oldies), Jazz and electro music. My favourite artist is Janis Joplin and my favourite band is The Mighty Oaks.
My favourite book is L'Homme qui rit written by Victor Hugo. But my favourite writer remains Boris Vian because of his crazy mind !

500 km in one night to make a surprise to my friends. It's not an exploit but it makes people happy, and for me, that's all that matters !
