I am an laid back Hungarian guy, recently moved back to my home town of Budapest recently after living in Estonia for a couple of years. The more places I visit the more I realize how cool and livable this city is. It's good to be home!

I'm interested in the not-so-obvious travel destinations, so I haven't been to many of the must-see European cities. I feel like they are going to be around later as well, so let's go and explore something a bit more off the beaten path.

I am in between two jobs and have the summer off, which is awesome. Also, I finally have a place where I can conveniently host!

我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

I have some travel plans here and there, but whenever I am home in Budapest I would be happy to host people, give you a tour in Budapest, go for a hike in the nearby mountain ranges or have a couple of beers.

The first time I came across something like Couchsurfing was when I worked as a night host in a cool hostel in Budapest for more than a year. I was only 19, didn't speak good English and had to tend to an overbooked beehive of a place full of people from all around the world. It was overwhelming, but in a very good way. I got to host lots of amazing people and it keeps me inspired to travel myself ever since.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

It's the little things! We had a balcony with a view to Mount Ararat in Yerevan, Armenia. When we first arrived in the morning, the sunrise was amazing. Also, sunsets in the Rocky Mountains... so I guess I like mountains!

I like to learn a few words on another language and listen to it's history and uniqueness firsthand from someone living there. I love to do the same favor too. I can teach you a few songs on guitar even if you have never played it before. I can cook you a simple but delicious Hungarian dinner.
