ABOUT ME

Well now, seeing as I can include anything I damn well want here...let's see. Used to think, ah, yes now, let's do the whole "college, grad school, residency, get married, buy a house in the burbs, have kids" like we're supposed to, but then, realized, whoooaaa hold on a moment, why am I running into so many people who went pell-mell down that path and don't seem quite as happy as you'd think. Soooo at this point, I'm halfway down the gangplank and deciding, nah, life free and at sea is just a big too much more interesting at this point, the little sis has the kids for grandma and granpda, so I'll just use this newfound money to spread it around the globe in a fashion that helps the "local" economy as much possible, meet fantastic people along the way, get into mischief, and try every beer not made by A-B or InBev on planet Earth (that part started getting tricky about 4 years ago, schnikes). Really, up for anything and will probably try everything once (though bungeeing off that ridiculously high dam in Switzerland? nah. Somehow, the thought is oodles scarier than skydiving was, meh). So hit me up for a couch and I'll return the favor when I travel through your lovely nation-state.

Really, willing to try everything once, except for possibly conforming to Shari'a Law (sorry) or agreeing with the fact that George Bush was ever a good president. But yeah, you want to throw a frisbee? Go to a game (of any kind...uh, minus WNBA)? Sing karaoke at 3 am? Teach me how to play my dusty guitar (oops)? Let me teach you how to cook a mean steak and 'shrooms? I'm game.

Walking amongst the ruins at fog-shrouded Trim Castle near Dublin on a late November morning...swimming in the shadow of twin volcanoes in Lake Nicaragua as the sun sets and turns the water vibrant shades of red and purple.
