About Me

I am an AI Specialist by profession, but a kind old soul at heart. I am a devout christian, who strongly believes in having a relationship with Jesus, vs just going to church out of obligation.

I first used couchsurfing back in 2016 on my first trip to the UK. I stayed with a lovely lady in Summertown Oxford, and we got along fine. I had a short stay of a week and as any tourist would have it, I wanted to go sight seeing and see the place mostly, I find that more fun than clubbing or being in the 'buzz'. But because I was couchsurfing and excited to have made a new friend, it was not just about me.

I was open to exploring the city with her and her friends whom she introduced me to.

Unbeknownst to me, she had not liked that I asked to leave early to a carnival that we went to together with her friends. I wanted to go sightseeing on the tour bus in London, and was ok with going alone and leave them to enjoy the rest of the carnival. This did not sit well with her. And learning about this only after I had left the next day, was pretty sad to me.

This explains the negative review that she left on my profile. I hope that after reading my side of the story, you will be open to try to get to know me and not make a judgement based on a single review.

Nonetheless, I am here again after many years. To hopefully form genuine friendships that will last a lifetime. I am a firm believer that there is nothing that a kind conversation between two people cannot change, meaning, if there's any problem, it can easily be resolved by a kind approach to a decent conversation with an intention to understand each others as opposed to one person being right.

Aside from the politics, I love travelling and I am well on my way to a doctorate in Artificial Intelligence.

I enjoy walking, a good home cooked meal, and am a very good baker as well.
