Por qué estoy en Couchsurfing

I'm planning a long (mostly) solo trip from my hometown in the Cotswolds, in South West England, to Seoul, through Turkey, Central Asia and China. I'm doing it this way partly for environmental reasons, but mainly because I want to see how the world changes and to really grasp the continuity of people in Eurasia. I believe that meeting up with different people along the journey is the way to get the most out of the trip.

I like many different kinds of music, but especially indie rock, one of my favourite bands is Nothing But Thieves. I always search for music in the languages I'm learning, and I'd love to get recommendations!

I travelled by train from Saint Petersburg through Siberia before flying to Yakutsk to see Yhyakh, the Sakha midsummer festival.
