About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Stay alive.

ABOUT ME

I think I'm a pretty nice guy, since studying philosophy has broadened my mind even more, and studying ethics has improved those also. There's nothing wrong with a good smile and we could all stand to do a little more for others.

PHILOSOPHY

We should help others a lot more than we currently do.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

It's such a perfect idea! Why wouldn't travellers want to spend their time at home talking to people who are travelling!?

Interests

Wrestling is my biggest passion, but I will watch any sport. Obviously travelling is another! I'm a big television fan too - let's talk about it in depth!

Music, Movies, and Books

Garden State/Wedding Crashers are my two standouts, and then any Disney movie; Love Glass Animals (I would put them as my favourite ever band based on two years of consistent listening), the Doors, Springsteen, boybands like Blue, 5ive and Backstreet Boys, depressing music like Keaton Henson, and then things like James Vincent McMorrow, Bon Iver and S. Carey; No One Gets Out of Here Alive (the Jim Morrison biography) is pretty great, Karl Pilkington's books are pretty great too.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

My trip to Australia and Fiji was just incredible, probably go with those.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can play football (soccer) to a decent standard and think I'm a pretty competant/patient teacher.
In studying philosophy I would be willing to pass on some of my knowledge of that to others.
I would also be willing to try and show others some music they might not have heard before.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Wine, food, any wrestling chat, with the occasional intelligent bit of conversation.

Countries I’ve Visited

Australia, Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Canada, Croatia, Fiji, Germany, Greece, Guernsey, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Malta, Netherlands, New Zealand, Scotland, Serbia, Slovenia, Spain, Turkey

Countries I’ve Lived In

Canada, United Kingdom
