Hey guys, I'm Thomas! In my profile pic you can see me in my natural enviroment: Travelling in Scandinavia (Iceland, to be precise.) I never really know what to write in those "About me" sections. Well, I love travelling, making music, reading, video games ... About the "music" part: I am currently in three Metal-Bands (you can see the logo of one of them on the T-Shirt in my pic :-D)
I am very interested in languages and Scandinavian culture, which is why I majored in Scandinavian studies in Vienna.
What kind of person am I? My friends would probably describe me as a calm person, but also somebody you can have fun with. On Saturdays you will probably find me in the local pub, trying interesting beers :-D But I also love hiking or sitting around a bonfire with friends having BBQs.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

When I travel I want to meet with locals and experience the places I visit rather as a local, than as a tourist. Also, as I wrote before I'm very interested in languages and I am always happy to talk to locals in the native language while travelling!

Movies: that's a tough one, but my favorite series are Game of Thrones and Vikings

Met my girlfriend :-) And besides that- finished my studies in a field I'm very passionate about and just released the first album with one of my bands.

I am always happy to share language skills with other people. Also I can play the guitar and people have said that my cooking is not THAT terrible ;-)
