我做过的一件不可思议的事情

Canada - September 2017. After 4 cold, cloudy days road-tripping in Quebec, we reached the Gaspésie National Park. Guess what ? Same damn weather. After spending 2 hours fighting against our tent in our Cascapedia lake camping spot, we went for a walk near lake Paul. We'd been told that we could maybe see some moose if we were lucky. We found a nice spot facing the lake and waited there for quite some time. It may not seem like an incredible experience but you have to picture yourself in this situation. It's 6.30 p.m., getting really dark at this beautiful little lake. We're on our own, surrounded by quiet nature. If something happens, nobody to help unless you drive at least 30 minutes. We could hear crackling branches behind us, but we had no idea what was causing that. All 3 of us remained silent for about half an hour, waiting for a moose to suddenly show up behind us. It didn't happen. Although we couldn't tell for sure if we'd wish it had happened or not. Certainly one of the most breathtaking experience I lived there. The best way to put an end to 4 days of cold. From the next day until the end of our trip, we've had nothing but sun and warm weather.
