Overview
About Me
I am a recent college graduate who is traveling in Europe while I am in the process of changing positions in my career. I enjoy hanging out with new people in new cities and some of my favorite travel activities are hiking up mountains, kayaking in lakes, climbing up castles and cathedrals, and of course eating and drinking.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I am on couchsurfing to meet people who can share their city and culture with me. I also enjoy discussing my culture with hosts and guests.
Interests
My biggest hobby is working out. I feel very refreshed after a hard workout and it clears my head of the stresses of work and life. I love the outdoors and enjoy visiting the many gardens and arboretums my home area has to offer and whenever I have the free time my favorite vacation is always to go hiking in the mountains. I usually go on a two week long hiking trip during spring break or at the start of summer but this year I decided to travel to Europe instead to visit new cities and experience new culture.

Music, Movies, and Books
My favorite book is called A Walk In The Woods by Bill Bryson. I don't read books often because I spend most of my time reading about current events and ongoing issues in the U.S. I watch most of the popular action movies that are released in theaters but besides those I normally just watch documentaries on either history or technology.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I volunteered with a local youth organization throughout my time in college that allowed me to interact with at-risk or impoverished kids and help them learn and grow inside and outside of school.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I can share my culture as well as my knowledge of US history and current social and political issues.
