About Me

I'm a professional saxophonist & I love meeting people. I live in Manhattan, West Village in a super small studio apartment, so unfortunately there is no room for visitors. It's about 200 sq/feet!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Just checking to see what this is all about. I travel to Idaho, west palm beach and the Caribbean quite a bit for music gigs. It would be nice to make friends in these places!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I was on the Grammy nominated album, Emotional Jukebox.

Teach, Learn, Share

I just live in the moment now because I had a near death experience in December 2015 which required that I have major surgery February 2016.
I'm better than ever now, but before they knocked me out on the operating table I looked at the ceiling and said to myself, "Hello Universe! I'm yours!"
Which was my personal way of confirming that I would let the universe take the reigns from then on, so instead of trying to control of manipulate my life, I just let it happen & take things as they come hoping for the positive while preparing for the negative. I live my life for experiences instead of material things because you can't take it with you.

It's been quite wonderful letting go. I recently quit my full-time job in the data-center/technology sector & became a full-time musician saxophonist. It's been a blast & i hope to share wonderful music experiences with the world.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I play the saxophone & teach music lessons. I suppose we can jam or I can show you how?
Couchsurfing is about sharing space & kindness. In exchange for letting me stay I am happy to offer to clean or reasonably contribute to your home. I understand There is more to being a guest than receiving a free place to stay, and it is important to understand & share that.
