Hi, I'm Thomas! I'm a student-to-be who's taken the year off to explore Europe. I grew up in different parts of Australia, now living in Adelaide, and have done my share of travelling in both Europe and Asia. I love meeting people from around the world and experiencing their culture, which is a big part of why I'm travelling again.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm on couchsurfing because I want to experience the countries I visit as more than just a tourist from a hostel, and meeting locals is always something I enjoy. The chance to make friends from around the world is something that's always appealed to me.

Interests

I'm a huge football (soccer) fan, but love just about all sports, particularly Australian football and cricket. I'm interested in architecture and design, and am hoping to learn more before I start my course next year.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music - All time favourites would be the Chili Peppers and The Cat Empire, but more recently it's been a lot of mellow electronic stuff (Flume, Half Moon Run) and more folk influenced groups (Mumford & Sons, Boy and Bear). Also a big Alt J fan.
Movies - Favourite movie is Into the Wild, could watch it a thousand times. I'd never say no to watching LOTR, Star Wars, Harry Potter though.
Books - My reading dropped off a bit in high school, but trying to get through some classics now.

I can offer hosts someone to hangout with, have a night out with, or just someone to share experiences amd ideas with. I feel as though I've had a lot of different experiences, and I'm always looking for more.
