Overview
About Me
Born and raised in a Franco-British family (French mother and British father), I quickly became aware of/interested in different cultures and languages. Having myself also lived in 5 countries (due to my parents' work, and later studies and my own work), learning languages and adapting to another culture was something I became quickly accustomed to, and really enjoyed. Having had the chance to experience this diversity of cultures, it turns out to have also been very enriching for my work as a musician in an orchestra.
With my Belgian girlfriend Juliette we love to meet new people from different horizons.
Juliette is also a musician, a harpist freelancing around Belgium with many concerts and has a few teaching positions in different academies.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
We'd love to welcome people in our home, and we'll also be really grateful to learn about your stories, where you come from, your life journey, traveller stories... We would like ourselves to embark on a long cycling trip from Europe all the way to Nepal (and then thru-hike the Great Himalayan Trail) in a few years' time! Good opportunity for getting experience with Couchsurfing on both sides, by being hosts in our daily life in Liège, and guests and meeting locals in our upcoming cycling adventures (to prepare for Nepal).
Interests
Both mad about mountains in general, we are two very keen thru-hikers, just came back from an entire traverse of the Pyrenees this summer (about 6 weeks). We also run and cycle in our daily life. We like books, maps, geography, travel. Passionate about nature.
