Overview
About Me
I like people who like people. :) I've done a lot of traveling around the world growing up, so I really like meeting people who have done the same! Lately, I've made it my personal mission to be as positive as I can be to everyone I meet.
I love music, live music, concerts, music festivals, and have played drums for about 9 years. I'm also super into dancing and singing. Anything to do with music usually makes me very happy.
By the way, I'm half white (German/Irish), a quarter Korean, and a quarter Mexican.
Currently I'm living in Japan working for a Board of Education in Hokkaido!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I wanna spread positivity throughout the world! And of course, I'm always keen to meet people who live and think differently than me.
Interests
music, literature, drums, traveling, learning about different cultures, BEER, drinking, good conversation, good FRIENDS
More than anything, I strive to live unselfishly; to listen, learn, and be inspired by others. Hopefully as I get older and gain more wisdom, I can be someone worth listening to, as well.

Music, Movies, and Books
My music tastes are constantly shifting. This would be something I could share better in a face-to-face conversation!
I don't really watch films. I can quote Napoleon Dynamite like it's nobody's business, though.
My favorite author is Dostoevsky. David Foster Wallace is a close second.
Teach, Learn, Share
I'm still learning Japanese, but I can teach you some basic-intermediate stuff.
I also love telling stories and sharing my thoughts on life. Lately I've been keeping a journal about my ideas and deeper thoughts I've had about my experiences. I'd love to include my Couchsurfing experience in the journal too!
What I Can Share with Hosts
I like good conversation, and love to talk in general! I also love to drink! But don't worry, I'm a tame drunk. :)
I've had a fair amount of crazy experiences in my young life. I'd love to share some with you.
I'd love to bring you a souvenir from Japan.
