Hi, I'm Tom, geophysics student at University of Edinburgh. I love travelling, and all things outdoors!

I grew up in a small country town and had a great time mountain biking, trail running and hiking and I yearn to explore other opportunities to have fun elsewhere! Busy cities and parties are fantastic but I'm just as happy having a lazy day on the beach with a good book to read.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I can't think of a more exciting way to delve into a new place than by staying with someone who knows the area well. It's an experience no guide book can give you!

Teach, Learn, Share

I can help with English, and would love to learn some of the local language and culture! If possible I would especially like to watch local food being prepared and hopefully take home with me new skills. Being a geology student I also know some realllly interesting facts about rocks :D
