ABOUT ME

Hey,
I'm a PhD student at the Open University currently doing work in Planetary Sciences.
I would like to hope that i come across as a friendly, easy going person who is willing to try most things and very eager to learn.

My goal is to become a University Lecturer as I love helping and teaching people. I am a Assistant Instructor in Karate which I have been practicing for 12 years (Teaching for about 4ish)and I have been Captain of the Ninjutsu Club at University. I love to learn and love being able to then pass on information and swap interesting stories and experiences.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I have mainly hosted so far only surfing once. However I would like to change that when I get the chance and discover some really wonderful places!

I have also started a collection of postcards of the hometowns of the surfers i have hosted. I would very much appreciate it if you could send me one after your stay or bring one with you. I would love to have a wall in my house covered in postcards from people i have met from around the world!

I do reply to all emails sent to me eventually. I usually check my profile a couple of times a week.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Everything has been great so far, no problems what so ever and everyone has been really nice.

Music - I like anything from Rock to Jazz to Classical and anything in between.

Movies - Mainly Action and fantasy but I'm happy to watch anything really. Im currently going through all the Studio Ghibli films.

Books - Mainly fantasy and sci-fi books although i do have some books on physics and astrophysics i am slowly getting through. I also read New Scientist regularly to keep up to date with the scientific world.
