Interests

Music - I play guitar practically every day, and I can find my way around a bass or even a mandolin. I enjoy the feeling that comes with jamming with complete strangers. I also just finished my first-ever studio recording with a good friend of mine.

Art - I will never grow tired of visiting art museums, and I'm open to most styles from impression through contemporary. I used to sketch and paint quite a bit, but haven't in a while. That's something I'd like to change. I try and do photography as often as possible, but there's a lot I still need to learn.

Everything else - I ride my bike as often as I can, and used to repair donated bicycles as a volunteer at a nonprofit organization. This spring I'll be taking part in the longest ride I have ever done, to help stop multiple sclerosis. Apart from that, I usually spend my time reading - mostly nonfiction, but lately I've had a craving for magical realism authors. Oh, I also like cooking but I'm always too indecisive about what I want to cook.
