ABOUT ME

I'm from France, and a quite easy-going guy. I think I'm curious by nature, I like to know how things work. So that's not surprising I work as a math researcher/teacher. Apart from science, I really like music (I play the guitar and the bass). But I periodically get curious about random stuffs : computer programming, board games, physics, books, movies, TV series, geopolitics, demography, economy...

PHILOSOPHY

I just try to enjoy things as they come to me, and to stay open minded. I also try to make the life of the people I enjoy a little better.

I'm on couchsurfing to share experiences with interesting people from all over the world.

Interests

I'm interested in science, music, history and education. I also enjoy cooking, and tasting other's cooking. I'm quite into "geek" stuffs : computers, scifi novels, board games. And of course meeting people and chat about these things and much more...

Music : rock, jazz, blues, funk, reggae, electronic music, a bit of classical music too.
Movies : Tarentino, Kubrick, Tim Burton, Terry Gilliam, sci-fi films, dumb action movies...
Books : mostly sci-fi and heroic-fantasy, but also Kerouac, Vian.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Tried to play the Oud in a small bedouin tea tent on the top of a hill in Petra, Jordan.
