HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Couchsurfing enables us to meet each other on a different basis. Provided the concept of impromptu-crashing into each others homes and lives, it enriches both sides simultaneously with the opportunity of trusting and caring, giving and taking, laughing and shaking.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Hours before being strangers, now unrolling your innermost thoughts, as if you'd known each other since childhood. That is what can happen, and it did happen.

Where my interests can be traced:

- on the back of an emu, riding it all the way to Nowhere
- inside the viewfinder of a camera
- in the result of a bookbinding process
- in a steaming cup of tea, misting up first the left, then the right part of my glasses
- in a pot of pasta
- in the woods, giving names to trees

Authors I lose and find myself in are Erich Fromm, Hermann Hesse, George Orwell, Max Goldt, Anis Mojgani. Lately more into spoken word and experimental poetry.

There's music by Nils Frahm for zoning out. Alt-J and Nicolas Jaar for hanging out. Indian music and Balkan beats for freaking out.
