ABOUT ME

I love my dance music, as I have been producing it for many years, and have started to practice mixing. I'm in love with drum and bass and minimal, same with my German roommate, Mike. I also love the occasional dirty party. You can get me to start talking about music for a long time (mainly on reasons why I dislike commercial stuff). Will probably try to organize a bush doof or electronic pub night sooner or later.

Anything that scares the shit out of me is pretty damn awesome. Whether it be skydiving, being chased by large animals, roller coasters, pushing my girlfriend's patience, or visiting a new, and possibly not virus-free, porn site.

I'm interested in further studies of environmental conservation, as I love the outdoors and nature. I also don't eat meat or sugar, so if you're going to cook, it may be a bit difficult and take some research, but the act would be well appreciated.

Oh, and my video game skills are up to par. I'm quite good at most shooting games, and we can definitely nerd up the conversation about dragons and shit. I try not to play games too much, but if you're up for some competition, we can have a little bit of fun with the games.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I live with one German dude (Mike), and my Australian girlfriend (Donna), and the three of us make up the great Tri-Pod. Expect to be out-partied by Mike, under-partied by Donna, and I'll be somewhere in the middle, greeting you with an awkward (for you) hug by the end of the night.

We live a 5 minute bus ride from the CBD, and have comfy furniture. You will be comfy if you stay with us, and you can have the choice of a bed, couch, smaller couch, hammock on the balcony, bean bags, or passing out on the bathroom floor.

A donation of beer is not required, but always welcome.

Music, Movies, and Books

Any movie that makes me laugh or think is great. I love trash, B-grade (if not Z...) films that are so bad they're good. We have Trash Movie Night every Wednesday at our place, and loads of people come. I also like non-fiction books to do with science.

And I love dance music. Not that crap that's repeated over and over again on the radio. I want the deep electronic minimal tunes, or the banging drum and bass drops! Trance is soothing, and dirty electro is amazing if the media hasn't destroyed it by playing it every day.

Teach, Learn, Share

If you stay with us, my roommate and I can teach you how to DJ, or produce electronic music, or hone your Call of Duty FPS skills, or cook. We can also have great deep conversations.

My girlfriend can teach you how to wash the dishes properly. It might take a while though, as she's still having difficulty teaching me.
