About Me

CURRENT MISSION

I'm living to learn more about everything - so please help me to feed my brain :) Surely i can learn you something as well

ABOUT ME

I'm a relaxed and curious person, i'd like to see and learn anything possible. I'm easy to handle and dont need much - only a calm place to sleep and nice people around me for having good conversations and celebrating life together. As i am a language fetishist, you can be sure, that i will ask you a hole in the stomach about your language and the origins of many words :) Next to that, i'm not interested too much in churches or standard touristic attrations, as they are the same everywhere. I like reading very much - preferred theme is intelligent science fiction from Philip Dick or Stanislaw Lem. Coelho and Peter Mayle are great too. Musically i like everyhing that gives me a good feeling (except for hard techno and metal) and make the body moving. More about me you will find out when we meet each other :)

PHILOSOPHY

Next to having a good time and some fun, i'm still searching for the sense in my life - more exactly: what will/can be my contribution to the world. I havent found yet, so i am looking for that most of the time and especially on my voyages.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I would like to tell people more about Germans and my country and to show them, that we changed a lot since 2nd world war and are mostly nice people :)Additionally, as written at my ERASMUS experience in France, we are all looking for the same things, the small differences in our wishes are coming mostly from the different national cultures - i would like to learn more about these and discuss about them with locals. Thats why i prefer to live with locals during travelling to get into touch with local culture, and i will do the same for visitors of my city. So be welcome to my place :)

Books: every book that is smart and describes its story with a kind of irony, like books from David F Wallace or Chuck Palaniuk (fight Club author). Next to that SciFi, Fantasy, Philosophic books from Coelho and others, Comics etc.

Films by Kevin Smith and Lars van Trier. Fight Club is one of my favorite films, and all Star Wars movies of course :) Snatch, films like that and all films with Jason Statham, Brad Pitt and Russel Crowe are great too.
